Have you ever considered adopting sand in your landscaping plans? Sand can be a valuable asset for any project. From gravel driveways to garden fixtures, this multi-purpose choice is an attractive possibility in adding diversity to a landscape. Both breathtaking and low maintenance, sand is also used in laying stone, paving, and gardening projects.

Types of Sand

Beach sand or white sand allows for a soft garden or yard, and can even be a play place for the kids. Utility, polymeric, and masonry sands provide structure for laying stones or paved ways. Choose decomposed granite, pebble, and gravel for an exceptional path or driveway: these choices are often less abrasive on car tread. Whatever the project be, sand and gravel are a cost-effective choice that permits better drainage and has greater longevity than typical asphalt.

Types of Gravel

Gravel can be a great alternative to sand or asphalt pavement. Whether looking for a fine gravel such as copper or silver slag, or a thicker, coarse variation such as a flint or granite, gravel adds a certain sleekness and contrast with the natural landscape. If you're not a fan of the look of natural choices, why not try a smoothed pebble? A polished variation can bring a sophisticated touch to driveways or paths. Add a touch of color to your property with a gorgeous Tuscan Rose, or perhaps you'd prefer the contemporary edge of a Dark Green Basalt. Whether it’s a more basic gray tone or multi-colored mix, there are endless possibilities for every style of home.

Project Ideas

Spicing up your backyard with a zen garden to bring a certain serenity to any home. A small pond pairs well with this timeless arrangement. If you're tired of the upkeep of the all-green landscape, replacing the entire yard with gravel or sand can save money & time while simultaneously lending your home's distinct touch on the neighborhood. Surrounding a rock garden with gravel can give an artistic touch to an otherwise sparse landscape.

Riversand can be a perfect solution for improving drainage and aeration in gardens. Sand also improves quality & longevity of placed stones or pathways.
